Where did you find that Joe? new to me also.

Hank I didn't save the site that mentioned this - I just went ahead and started searching for information on this and found the above... There's more info out there, but this link above looked like the best source.

I did read that Remington didn't designate the DA's with a different ID serial number - they just kept using continuous serial numbers be it Single Action or Double Action when they came off the line.

Thanks Joe, I'll have to start digging around.

I'd really like to see the rear of the cylinder - and the inner frame rear cylinder wall, and see how it compares to the modern day Double Action Revolvers.
