New Pocket Fire Kit
« on: February 23, 2010, 05:53:36 PM »
I decided that I needed one for myself and made this one. It is a little bit larger than the others by 1/4" higher, and 1/4" wider. Just that little extra makes it easier to work with, and I made the striker a bit wider with a curved bottom. The curved face striker seems to throw more spark. Hope you enjoy a look.

That is a great looking fire kit. You did a great job on it. I wouldn't mind being caught with one of those myself.
Take only what you need and leave the rest

I like that! In fact I like it very much.

I have an old tin that has all my fire "stuff" in it, but I like this better.

Uncle Russ...

It's the many things we don't do that totally sets us apart.
