Did some measuring this evening....
Here's some specs.  Barrel .30cal, 39"long, tapered - .960 at breech and .850 at the muzzle.  Overall length of rifle - 55".

I ordered the catalog. I assume that they sold the barrel to the gunsmith who made the rifle.

Chuck, when you get your catalog I would like to hear if you can find some facts about your gun.  I'd love to see some pics of that rifle if you get around to taking some.
