new hunting bag

Just finished this bag probably going on the rendezvous blanket at multi lakes,4oz veg tan cowhide. the star is leather tan ox blood red.

I like that little "outside' pouch under the flap.
Don't know for sure, but looks like a nice place to store a small handful of ball.

Anyway you slice it, that is one handsome bag.

It's somewhat obvious that this is not your first endeavor working leather.

Very nice work. I like the serrated edges. Did you use pinking shears? What dyes did you use? I like the color and finish.

Thanks guys, now that i figured out how to post, i will post more as i finish them, finishing up one right now for my dads 75 for his gun room. this bag i used fiebings dark brown dye 2 coats and,then 3 coats of kiwi brown shoe polish rubbed and buffed in. and yep used pinky sears, as for the secret pocket in flap thats for the insert but i always leave it trimmed a bit big and i keep some spare flints tucked in there
