Mondays horn
« on: May 20, 2014, 02:29:36 AM »
Just finished this left side carry horn. Again dyed with an Osage bath, cherry plug, sculpted tip. Sealed as always with beeswax and pinned with mesquite thorns.
Rasped, filed and scraped by hand with a paste wax finish. It was inspired by a horn on pg 69 of Jim Webbs book on pouches, powder horns and accoutrements.
This plug is the "UN-fumed" cherry plug from a past thread and it is already darkening some, but hard to tell with the camera flash.
Questions,comments and concerns welcome.
