I don't know who made the knife, other than it's from an old file with curly maple handles.
Like you, patch boxes really do not do much for me either.

No, that's from an infection that I developed back in December. It turned the tip of my finger black along with all my toes and the bottom of my feet.  I had all that amputated and cut away back in late February, then a skin graft to close everything up back in May.  I just started walking again about a month ago with the help of some assistive devices and hopefully by the time deer season starts I'll have been fitted for orthotic shoes and leg braces.  Needless to say, this is the gear that will accompany me for that hunt.

No, it hasn't been a barrel of laughs by any means but it does make planning for things like this year's deer season that much more meaningful.  Goals are a good thing to have no matter where you are in life.
