It was a busy but good day. We do an outdoor education program where we work. So I set up our camp and we taught pre1840 history the first 1/2 of the day. Then we taught about my critters the second half. I have a couple of chinchillas, a hedgehog, an albino corn snake, an Asian forest scorpion and a rose hair tarantula that we show. They get to touch the snake and the chinchilla. Then tore down camp and put up the pets.

"I have a couple of chinchillas, a hedgehog, an albino corn snake, an Asian forest scorpion and a rose hair tarantula that we show."......

Wow!
Glad you had a good day!  :notworthy

My kids had such things when they were little and they loved to play show-n-tell when city folk came to visit, but that was back when the world was a much happier place.
The kids sometimes did ignore their chores when we lived on the ranch in NM, because Puff looked sick, Hank the Horned Toad wouldn't stick his tongue out, or one of their snakes ate something he shouldn't have, but fortunately I never found any of their critters in my boots, in my bed, or near the kitchen, and I never stepped on one.....I was very careful about that part.
Life was good back then.
