New book on 19th cent. Indian Wars
« on: December 05, 2016, 03:54:18 PM »
There's a new book on the Indian Wars, The Earth is Weeping: The Epic Story of the Indian Wars for the American West by Peter Cozzens. On the strength of the favorable comment about it in the "NY Times Book Review" a few weeks ago, I purchased it and have now finished reading it. It is an objective, thorough, compelling history of the Indian wars and may be of great interest to many here.
