Southern Campaign of the American Revolution
« on: July 29, 2017, 10:31:42 AM »
I was proud to have a small part in the filming of this educational series on the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution by South Carolina ETV.

I participated in the filming of the Battle of Kings Mountain.  I appear about 4 minutes into the video, where they are describing the battle.  I am wearing the green hunting shirt and  grey wool leggings.  It was fun running up and own the hill filming the scenes.  Some of the footage shot that day was also in some of the other lessons.

Cool! Enjoyed the video.

Gotta say, South Carolina has plenty of hills. The one I remember most is Tank Hill at Ft. Jackson... Boy do I remember Tank Hill from '74...

These reenactments are great stuff. Keep up the good work!  :hairy
