inline attachments now activated for our TMA forum

whenever you attach a file, or files, to a post, they're stuck down at the bottom of the post and thumbnailed to a small size.

forum code has been added that will allow you to attach images to your post and place those images anywhere within the body of your post.

here's an example of just attaching an image to post, and seeing it at the bottom ....

now here's a post that uses the same attached image as above, but puts that image inside the body of the post itself.

kinda neat, eh?

how'd he do dat?

easy.  just attach yer image (or images) as you normally do, then wherever in the body of your post that you want the attached image to appear, simply type this code ...
Code: [Select]
[attach=1]the number (in this case "1") is for the first attached image - increment that number for each other attached image (if there is more than 1 attached image).

I like this feature a lot better than the little "attachment" feature.
IMHO, This has been needed, very glad to see it has come about.

You're spot on.....how'd he do that?

Thanks Rob!

I know! Rob done gone "In-Line" on us...what a terrible thing to have happen to a fellow traditionalist.

However, It didn't take me long to discover that I'm all in for "In-Line" when it comes to this application of the term.

Just trying to see why inline attachments aren't working for me ... now

Well did it
The trouble with doing things right the first time is no one realizes how hard it was.
Often, however, the following is more applicable.
I stand corrected, a position somewhat painful to achieve, but once there, is quite satisfying.

Not trying to steal this thread, but what would that pistol weigh? I also wouldn't want to clean it.
