Any muzzleloading things to see or do in or near Springfield MO

Hi everyone
I will be down in the Springfield area for a week or so around March 5-9 and wondered if there was anything I should partake of
Not ever being down there I don't want to miss anything
I would like to see the NRA gun museum there bit would entertain any other things you would suggest

Also, if you can swing through KC, two great stops are Steamship Arabia Museum and Fort Osage. Both have websites.
