The Revolutionary War Animated Map
    April 19, 1775 - September 3, 1783

   https://www.battlefields.org/learn/maps/revolutionary-war-animated-map

See the Revolutionary War unfold, from Lexington to Yorktown and beyond, on our animated map, produced by Wide Awake Films in partnership with the Revolutionary War Trust (formerly Campaign 1776), a division of the American Battlefield Trust.

This is the first Revolutionary War Map that unfolds, from Lexington to Yorktown and beyond to the End of the War in September of 1783. The plat presents the entire location of the areas that the conflicts took place. The major conflicts are presented in this passage of the areas of the colonies.

What were some of the conflict’s highlights?

April 19, 1775 —       The Battles of Lexington and Concord, Ma.
May 10, 1775    —        The Siege of Fort Ticonderoga, N.Y.
June 6, 1775 —               The Battle of Bunker (Breed’s) Hill, Ma.
August 27, 1776 —         The Battle of Brooklyn, N.Y.
December 26, 1776 —    The Battle of Trenton, N.J.
January 3, 1777 —        The Battle of Princeton, N.J.
September 11, 1777 —    The Battle of Brandywine, Pa.
October 4, 1777 —       The Battle of Germantown, Pa.
October 7, 1777 —        The Battle of Saratoga, N.Y.
June 28, 1778 —        The Battle of Monmouth, N.J.
December 29, 1778 —     The Capture of Savannah, Ga.
March 29, 1780 —        The Siege of Charleston, S.C.
August 8, 1780 —        The Battle of Camden, S.C.
January 1, 1781 —        The Battle of Cowpens, S.C.
October 10, 1781 —             The Battle of Yorktown, Va.

The last battle of the American Revolutionary War was fought in Arkansas at a little known location known as Arkansas Post. The Battle of Arkansas Post (also known as the Colbert Raid or Colbert Incident) was a battle of the Anglo-Spanish War fought at Arkansas Post on April 17, 1783.

It was a part of a series of small battles fought between Spanish and British forces in the Lower Mississippi region from 1779, when Spain entered the war on the side of the United States, to the war's end. The battle consisted of an attack on the Spanish-controlled post by British partisans led by James Colbert.

The battle's primary engagement was a six-hour siege of the post's fort and a subsequent sortie by the Spanish defenders, causing the British forces to rout. The battle actually took place three months after the preliminary peace treaty between Spain and Great Britain was signed on January 20, but word of the treaty had not yet reached the Lower Mississippi region. It was the only battle of the Revolutionary War fought in what is now the state of Arkansas.

WOW! :hairy

A great video! Thanks for posting. It's the best short history of the Revolution I have seen. Also, the close-ups of the troops makes it worth watching more than once.
