My new TMA Flag
« on: September 01, 2019, 09:33:26 AM »
:hairy :applaud :applaud :applaud I was thrilled to find the new TMA Flag in the big batch of mail that was waiting for us when we returned from Africa. It is every bit as good looking as I had expected, and well worth the price.

I cannot wait to fly it at my next 'vous. It will surely get noticed and be a wonderful conversation starter.

Thanks for all the effort from everyone to get them made. It is appreciated.

I made my flag pole this morning - stripped off the bark of a sapling and will let it dry before putting some shellac on it later on... I went this route as it was all I could come up with. (I just couldn't find that right branch like doggoner did). Otherwise I'd a went that route.

I did make one alteration to the flag - I sewed a piece of deer leather to the top right -or- (left corner  depending on which side you're viewing it from) so my flag would hang in a way where it was easily identifiable with its face/logo... Just used my sewing awl for this little operation. It's now ready to take to Rendezvous.
