From what I've read about cherry wood, there's no stopping its propensity to continually deepen in color ....  :scared: .... unless it's kept in the dark and out of ALL light sources.

Getting back to my cherry stocked .45 Woodsrunner, now it's a .54 after a bbl swap.  The .54 bbl was a perfect drop-in fit, too.

Ahhhh, the gun is mo' bettah now!  Much lighter to carry, too!

Oh No Rob! The Kibler in Cherry is MINE ...... If it ever comes. I look for a shipment Email every morning. Will Christmas NEVER come!!!

So which barrel shot the best?  Also,  how much lighter is the .54 over the .45?

Both shot "best" - GM makes good ones - it really comes down to the shooter, and perhaps the rifle's application.

Also,  how much lighter is the .54 over the .45?

'Bout 1/2 pound lighter.
