It is a kit gun, I'm guessing 1790s-1820s impression.
 Should fit my fur trapper camp nicely.

Lovely!  I just finished rereading Hanson's "The Northwest Gun", would dearly love to have one.  You owe Eric big time!  You should enjoy that piece for many years to come.  :bl th up

 Well it wasn't a gift really, I still gotta pay the piper. Eric's not that generous. 
 He gave it to me on account , on account I ain't got no money.

 Winter is trying to arrive this weekend but high pressure is coming this week so maybe I can put some lead down range soon.

 well I have a new antique coffee grinder to clean and get ready for my rondy activities.

30" bbl , .62 cal.   Northstar West.  She's a beaut Clark.
Very gently used if at all.  I believe Eric said it was unfired

 I meant to get a few more pics up but life ya know.

Yeah, it was purportedly unfired according to the seller. I tend to believe him, because I couldn’t find traces of black powder residue anywhere, and the frizzen showed virtually no marring whatsoever. I’ve had perhaps a dozen rounds through it myself, if that.

I used a little Brass Black on the hardware and browned the lock myself. Had some fun little impromptu photo shoots with it.
