Thank you all for the warm wishes.
Had a great day.  Worked around the house cleaning up some things and fixing some things.
Finished out the day being taken out for dinner by good friends to a seafood house.  Had grilled swordfish, a treat I haven't had for a while.  Then birthday cake for a sweet ending to a great day.  I guess I could have burned some powder, but that would have entailed a 300+ mile round trip.  Every range around here is closed or membership required. ;banghead; ;banghead;

That's OK, Kees, I was still celebrating today.
Went to a dance this afternoon and they had birthday cake for me.
Well, it wasn't exactly for me, but I claimed it anyway.  And they did play the Happy Birthday song.  It was for everyone having a birthday in August, but, why not.
I started celebrating it on Friday.  Probably will finish up about this coming Friday.  Not everyday a person turns 80, doncha know.
