This photo is from I think 1993, maybe the 2nd Spokane House Reenactment. On the left is Don Stevens, portraying the factor from the Canadian company and yours truly as the factor from the American company.
I believe I was put in that position not because of my in depth knowledge of the history of Spokane House, but more because I had a top hat and a frock coat. Dress to impress!!

Don made every bit of his outfit by hand except the hat. I on the other hand had mine made by Loraine Hayden.

And the back side of the card gives a little bit of information about the Spokane House. IIRC, there was a whole series of those postcards portraying various reenactors doing what they did then. I have them somewhere, but I have no clue where. If/when I run across them again, I will scan them and post here.
