I can't agree that Swiss is only a little more powerful than Goex.

I'd like to get out myself for a little shooting Lonewolfe20, but that darn system that went through on Christmas Eve/Day, just simply put a damper on that, and I just can't catch a break with high wind. I can hardly wait for Spring to show up. I guess in the mean time I'll order a little powder.  :lt th

Warm is a relative term

I fully understand those weather problems!
Everything that ain't busted is frozen solid, and it looks another two weeks of the same nonsense.

This has been a really, realy, hard winter on me personally. I just can't take the cold like I used to. It seems to bother my old bones, makes the joints hard to move.

Kicked back in my recliner, with my feet up to the stove, a dog in my lap, and a glass of Scotch in my hand seems to work pretty well to overcome this situation, but I know Mama Bear ain't going let me have too many days like that!

You good folks stay safe, and warm!

Uncle Russ...

Well, in 40++ years of shooting GOEX, I think I have probably burned my body weight in that stuff.  I must like it, I keep coming back to it, so that is what I buy.
Muley, I'd sure be interested in knowing what kind of rifle you were using and what kind of chronograph you were using to get those results.  Seems like I did some side by side comparisons myself maybe 15 years ago or so, and I didn't get anything nearly to drastically different like you showed.  IIRC the Swiss was a little hotter than the others, but nowhere that much.  Interesting.  As a side note, I was working with a .72 caliber rifle and running loads up to 200 grains and I didn't worry much about plinking charges.  Could explain the difference in results I was experiencing?
