Well first welcome, glad you're here.
Second, I haven't been with TMA long enough to answer the question on medals but I know someone will be along to answer it
 Again welcome
Kevin

Introduce Yourself! / Hello From Nebraska
« Last post by RedOneFive on Today at 08:17:33 AM »
Howdy!
Just a wanted to introduce myself and throw a few things out there.
I'm Joe Niemeier out in NW Nebraska.
I met Marty (ohiojoe) about 10-11 years ago when we started our rendezvous journey at BCFTMLA south of Chadron.
He and I really enjoyed each other's company at rendezvous and his grandson and my daughter played for several years at rondy until the grandson moved away.

After his passing,  his kids/other family went through his hunting/fishing /outdoors items and procured everything they had any desires for, then I bought a lot from Cindy that she wanted to sell before she moves back east with the kids.
In the lot there is a box of TMA medals... I would like to get them to right people to be used at the events. If yall can help me with y that.

Some of his rifles will live on in the hands of 4h BP club kids in Eastern Wyoming, some in the hands of our own rendezvous/muzzleloader club.. And some down in Bridgeport NE as well.. I have put a few rifles into my collection, and added his beautful library to my own as well.
Marty will be sorely Missed and he was a great guy to hang out with...
Looking forward to getting to know all of you..
Joe

Just checking the forum periodically to see if anybody can answer the question Beaverman asked about the thread size.If there was ever a $1,000,000 question , this could be it. I'm just wondering if Numrich Arms might be able to shed some light on the situation. I don't know what kind of muzzleloading parts they may have info on.

Started this on Sunday, worked a bit on it Monday, think I can sneak out to my off grid shop today and maybe get a base plug turned for it while watching stripper work on a stock to remove some super shiny finish somebody put on an older CVA,

Gun Building and Repair / Made in the USA CVA Mountain rifle question
« Last post by BEAVERMAN on May 28, 2024, 12:39:07 PM »
I have an older CVA mountain rifle thats marked made in the USA, no Spain markings which leads me to think that the threads on the drum and nipple are standard and not metric? if so does anybody know the thread size on the drum and clean out screw, somebody before me has chowdered the screw and looks like they tried to use channel locks or vice grips to unscrew the drum, thanks in advance, Beav

General Interest / Re: Unscientific .36 cal experiment

It kinda makes one wish they made buckshot in .535 diameter, not to mention .600 and .715.

John (Bigsmoke)

It would have to be labelled "Bullshot"......
