That's cool. I never done much trapping, but I've seen a few traps in my day. But I've never saw one with a pan like that before. Thanks for sharing.

Here's a trap i acquired 8-9 years ago. Not sure of it's age, but it's definitely a blacksmith made jobber.. it was presented to me with another square jaw trap as both antiques. I passed the square on to my buddy who is a die hard trapper..

The Campfire / Re: What's Everyone Doing?

Getting ready to head over to the coeur d'Alene rendezvous tomorrow.  Will find a good spot to put up the tin tipi and relax a bit before the festivities start on Friday.
Looking forward to meeting Kevin and 2nd Rate Sh ooter.
And of course, all the old members of the group and meeting some of the new ones.
I worked on the misbehaving rifle a bit yesterday and I hope I have the problem solved.  Time will tell.

Sounds more like a problem with firefox or his firewall, especially if he has upgraded to a new puter with a new operating system, send your message to Rob  in a pm, he's the wizard round here!

Notice what Joe said about doing something like that only at 100 yards.  I sure looks like that's what we have been doing!   :laffing

The Campfire / Mad Irish Jack

I emailed Mad Irish Jack the other day to see how he's doing and got this response:

I've been going through some medical surgeries and haven't been on the media much in a while. But when I try my ML sites (all in general) I get a warning message that they are viral and I can't find a way in. I also get warnings that the URL is incorrect or non-existent.
I'm doing better, even shooting some targets at my club range. If you could send me the URL ( I believe I'm still registered as a member, since the TMA sent me a Birthday wish). I wanted to post "Thank You's" but could not get onto the site. I'd would appreciate if you can assist me in some way. Thanks for the check in and for any assistance you may provide. Thanks. Mad Irish Jack

I sent him the URL (I think that's what it's called) for our site and got this reply:

Thanks, (that address is what I have. I click it and it comes up ERROR)??? We'll see if I can fix it. Thanks again, Jack.

I noticed that Firefox has a picture of a lock with a red slash through it, and "Not Secure" beside it before the URL so there may be a problem with our site, although I get on with no problems.

I truly wish you could shoot with us Hanshi. Participation is not monumental. I guess as long as I'm blessed with the ability to do it, I'll keep doing it. Because I know how quickly that ability is gone.

I can’t even see the target stand at 200 yds!

Hey Kees, you better not give 49er any ideas.

I was going over forums I haven't visited in years, if ever, and saw this:

Looks pretty much like what we're doing!
