I guess this could go under either caplock or flint, but I recently bought a stock that had a caplock in it, so...
Has anyone ever seen a "fat" CVA Mountain Rifle? By fat, I mean the wood is thick and then reduced to the proper thickness at the wedge plates, nose, etc. This is from a .58. It also looks like the buttplate and trigger guard were possibly a nickel or chrome-type finish, though it is pretty well worn. I think I have seen that on mountain rifles before, but I don't recall seeing the "fat" stock. I'm thinking it may have been a kit...
Any ideas?
