Finished my Pipe Hawk
«

I've had this pipe hawk laying around for two years and finally got it done. Filed and engraved the head when I got it and it sat long enough to get a good patina. Completed the shaft between guns last month and made a deer antler stopper for the cleaning hole. More ornamental than functional, but neat to have in my collection. What ya think?

Thanks!
Haven't smoked it yet, not really a smoker but I'll give it a try one day. I keep some pipe tobacco in the shop just because I like the smell of it, so I do have some on hand...

Very nice work. Did you do the engraving? It is a delightful addition to a nice hawk.
