Brass mold
« on: August 14, 2011, 05:14:36 PM »
Bought this mold today from an old timer. Does any one know what mold this is? One cavity holds a 36 cal rd ball, the other  round cavitys are  a little larger, and I don't recognize the other long bullets.

I once got one with a cased set of Colt Army pistols. Bullets seemed long though.

Check out the bullet shape in the middle  of the mold. What kind of bullet is that?

That one in the middle looks familiar, perhaps for paper patching...

That's a new one on me. I have one that puts out two size balls but yours is the best of both worlds. Thanks for the look see.

 The conical bullets are hourglass in shape albeit slightly, no way they could be used in a revolver. As for the round ball ones, they are diff dia. I guess for wgt. purposes. So if any of you lads need a mold for yer blunderbuss or swivel gun, lemme know! ;)
