Tinkering project
« on: March 17, 2014, 09:50:11 PM »
Haven't been able to fine tune that .36 yet but hope to this weekend. In anticipation of shooting it a lot, I decided a couple of loading blocks would be a good idea. I had some scrap black walnut and a friend gave me some slabs of Osage. A new 3/8 brad point drill bit and walla!

I'm just gonna have to make me one of those gizmos; they won't look as good as yours, however.  :bl th up

Nice loading blocks, I might have to build a couple for my .54.

Thanks , I precut my own patches, and in instances where you have to shoot out of yer bag, they are very handy IMO.
Have been using them on my .50 and .45 as well.
