New strap pattern and colors need input
« on: July 25, 2016, 02:10:04 PM »
I'm just started working on the strap. Yes or no on the colors and patterns of the strap? Need some input on this. Thank you very much.

Alan, I was giving a new pattern to try from a weaver friend. This is not how it should look but works for me. Going to make a pair a suspender or send it to a good friend he love it.

Lynn, I know you are looking for constructive comments, 'cause that's just the kind of person you are.
Quite often I can't tell you why eye-candy is really eye-candy, as I don't have much of an eye for choosing best patterns, best designs, best colors, or whatever, but I am going to give this a shot.

FWIW; I will make one comment, not that it is even relevant, or that anyone else will even agree with my thinking, but it would seem in my mind that the two colored "side-bars" should be of the same design.
When I first looked at the strap the one thing thing that caught my eye was that there was a difference in that respect. The side bar on the right is a wee bit different than the one on the left.
There is also a difference in the two inner lines, but that difference seems intentional and by design.

And, I'll add that the two side bars being different may also be intentional and done by design.
Quite often little differences / oddities are added intentionally just to catch the eye of the observer, and perhaps this is just another example of that.

Still yet, bottom line is.............I like the strap. :lt th
