This is the way I do it. The brush works perfectly in .45, .50 and .54 caliber barrels. And you will never stick it.

It looks like it would work pretty well.
I use the old traditional "tow and worm" for scrubbin' bores.

Semisane, I too epoxied a [bottle washing] brush to a wood dowel to clean the threaded breech of my inline: works like a charm and was beaucoup dollars cheaper than commercial devices.

Hmmm. I have a couple of brushes like that for cleaning the pets' drinking fountains. Do you suppose my Sweetie would notice if one of them was gone?
