I made a shooting bag to accompany my Brown Bess. It measures 9x8 with a 1" gusset and has an internal pocket. It should serve well enough.

Should work good. The inner pocket comes in handy, I always add one when making a bag.

I would have never guessed you could get strap material that looks that good from Hobby Lobby. I will definitely check it out...maybe even today...
