  I do have another question. How do you figure the score?

---> Bullet holes must completely break a scoring line to count for the higher value.

You can also review the current posted targets ...

Just looked at Joe's target and all I can say is: Dang Joe, file down that front sight a mite!   :lol sign  It looks like a proper group, just needs to go up a bit.  There is always next month.   :bigsmile:

Yes, the front sight needs taken down just a bit. I had installed a thicker brass blade sight (one I could see)... Good project for May. :bl th up

I filed mine down a bit but haven't been out to see what difference that made.... Maybe Monday, after taking the old girl dog to the vet at 0800 hours.  :pray:

Actually Kees, I was looking at the extended forecast for this coming week, and it looks like I have three very good Range Days with decent temps and little wind.

I'm certainly hitting 2.25 inches low of my center X hold... I verified this with my 5th shot touching the 10 Ring - by holding in (what I felt was the center of the top 9 Ring for my last shot).

This is an easy fix with the file, and I "may" (if needed) tap in a little windage, but I'll correct for elevation first.

Unless a person is young and with excellent eye sight, using such generous amounts of black area on our targets available, it basically removes the "I want to be two inches high at a 25 yards Zero type thinking" as there's just too much center mass black to get a good pin point aim 2 inches low of center.

So, this rifle will be strictly a dead center Zero hold, and that's okay. I think it levels the playing field nicely, and it's good training for shooting gongs when putting size and distances into prospective.

I really like this TMA Match setup!!! And I give Rob a BIG :hairy

Meisje has a patch of skin in her left thigh where she has licked all the hair off.  I think the vet will probably say it's allergies.  She's 12 now, so I expect we'll have to have her put to sleep one of these days.  Arthritis in her hips and shoulders also.  We went for a walk yesterday of a little over a mile, and today she was totally stove up.  I took the "young" dog (who is 7 now) for a walk and she just looked at me when I asked if she wanted to go too; didn't get off her bed.

Thanks for your concern!  One of the problems with getting pets is that they don't live as long as we do, unless you get a tortoise or an elephant!

Jeez, No Powder, I'd hate to see what you could do if you poured some Goex down the tube! Nice work! :hairy

RobD, I’ve been sidelined from shooting the past 7 months but I’m going to ease back into it with my .36 flinter so I’ll be in going forward.

Hey, No Powder, I'm coming for you. I hope to shoot my June target tomorrow and it looks like all I have to get out if my five shots is 52/8X :lol sign Dirty Harry once said "a man's got to know his limitations" but I don't know about that. Stay tuned! ;banghead;
