Thanks guys. One is a gift the others are headed for my trade blanket at rendezvous!

And we just hope that there will be rendezvous this year for you to lay out your trade blanket at.  Last year was a total bust for me between Idaho and California.  Damn !!!

Ya Bigsmoke, here too. Have had a bum shoulder so that eased the lack of rendezvous, havent shot a rifle since April 2019, but next month out comes the .36.!

Oldtexian, all of those are kiln dried cherry lumber that was supposed to be pistol blanks but they were too thin. I realy like how it carves but you are correct, green wood is prefered. Im new to it but have some silver maple and maybe boxelder(?) branched sealed and waiting in my shot for a roundtoit
