A New Toy
« on: October 02, 2008, 10:34:18 AM »
Well I've not been around as much as I would like lately but that doesn't mean I'm not shooting. At least a little.  8)

So About a year ago I ordered a second pistol from our member gun meister... Wyosmith. Now you all saw the first one I got from him and it sure is a beauty for sure but I think he out did his self on this one... It absolutly floored me when I opened the box. And then I shot it and WOW can it shoot. With just the barest of load work I have it shooting ragged 3 shot groups you could cover with a silver dollar! It's a  .54 10" barreled flinter... I'll let the pictures say the rest.

Thank You Steve... I could not be happier!!!

As with all of the guns I've seen of Steve's, it way too pretty to shoot. But I'll bet it's a tack driver.

Hey Beav I'm sure you reconized a few of them?

R.M. it shoots like a dream... if I do my part it will surely keep me in the running. When I ordered it way back when I asked for a real target pistol and that is what I got and then some!

   Wow!! I'm sure glad I'm not a pistol shooter...I'd be so busy looking at that pistol...there's no way I could ever hit anything
That's a pretty piece of work...

Ya Jon, I bet it does shoot like a dream. Sure looks like one.
That's something I have to get. I've never shot a flint pistol. Bet it would humble me. I'll bet it wouldn't make much difference with that lock being on the wrong side either.
Again, that's quite a piece you got. Treat her well.

Absolutely Stunning.
