Flintlock Long Guns / Re: Whoops

This is my last kibler WR.
Calls for a 7/8 x 1 and I had been shooting 3/4 x 3/4 ish french flint and kept breaking rocks so I ordered the correct size from TOTW , they came yesterday.
The one that caused this came from a bag of loose English flints I had
Pays to pay attention huh.
Going shooting today with the correct size flint.

I know a guy that makes a mental error once in a while and forgets to put powder in. I should have inquired about the type of rifle before making a comment about flint size. My apologies.

From what I've read about cherry wood, there's no stopping its propensity to continually deepen in color ....
