A short bit of aquarium hose of the correct diameter will work also. Or, retrogress and shoot a flintlock!

Kees, now that's not a bad idea! When I clean my caplocks I always put that little tight fitting clear hose over my nipple cone to flush out the barrel and it keeps the liquid away from the stock that way ('course the other end stays plugged until I'm ready to flush the barrel...
Now I never even considered using that as a nipple "cone" until you mentioned it here... Now of course my nipple is capped under my metal cone so I'm ready for a shot,,, but all in all - that's a darn
good idea!
